MOOFIE is a Hostile Mob and companion/pet to its bigger counterpart, MOOSTAFA. It is considered as a boss due to its extreme difficulty to kill. Along with MOOSTAFA, it spawns in an Arena surrounded by Stone, in the Desert Biome. When killed, it rewards a lot of Gold and food. It also spawns as a guardian of The Volcano.

Technical

• MOOFIE behaves just like a normal Wolf, except it runs away when you hit it 4 times quickly.
• MOOFIE deals 10 damage.
• MOOFIE has 7000 Health.
• MOOFIE moves considerably faster than its master, MOOSTAFA.
• Respawns 30 seconds after you defeat it.
• MOOFIE is immune to Pit Traps.
• MOOFIE can break Spikes.

Strategy

• The best overall strategy to kill MOOFIE is to trap it in the entrance of the boss arena. Trapping the boss here will make it so they are unable to move. If you stay outside of the entrance, You will be able to deal damage to the boss with any weapon. The boss will still to be able to attack you if you're inside the entrance.
• It is possible to kill MOOFIE from outside of the arena, due to the fact that it attacks like a Wolf, only dealing damage on contact.
• Sometimes, MOOFIE will just ignore you after you keep hitting it, making it harder to kill it from outside the walls of the arena.
• Use Bat or Polearm to knock it back when it is attacking you, preferably Bat for its higher fire-rate and knockback.
• Kill MOOFIE first, then get MOOSTAFA. Or, you could just ignore MOOFIE as it will respawn.
  • Hit MOOFIE repeatedly into a corner so that it won't be able to run or damage you.
  • If MOOFIE pins you, try placing a Spike. With the help of you hitting it, it will soon run away. Try not to be pinned down, as it is hard to heal yourself and you may be given the Shame! Hat.
• If you equip Bull Mask, MOOFIE won't attack you unless you attack it first.
• If you had chosen Hunting Bow, Crossbow or Repeater Crossbow, you can block him with Boost Pad so it won't move and farm it only 12 times to obtain Ruby Non-Ewe's
• If you have a Tribe, you can create a cage for MOOFIE. Put Platforms around him and make him your pet! If it doesn't behave, shoot 4 arrows fast or hit your pet 4 times, and it'll run away!
• You can use Daggers to kill him or greatly decrease its health, and finish him off with your secondary weapon.
• If you're trying to kill MOOFIE whilst being surrounded by walls, put a small place between walls so you won't be blocked if he attacks you!
• If the above methods prove to be fruitless or if MOOFIE proves to be a nuisance, use a Teleporter to teleport him out of the arena, where it will run around and potentially kill other players. Keep in mind, though, that if and when another player kills him, he will respawn in the arena.

Trivia

• It is most likely not, though very cosmetically similar to the Wolf, the same species. This could mean that MOOFIE could possibly be a sort of werewolf or wolf-monster hybrid. In fact, it is called wolf_2 in the game files.
• MOOFIE is one of the most common ways of getting the Shame!! Hat, because of him ramming you into a wall, and you will probably spam Food too fast and get the Hat.
• MOOFIE uses the same hex colors as MOOSTAFA.
