The Battle Axe is a fantasy upgrade to the Hand Axe MOOMOO.io.
Technical[]
- The Battle Axe is available as an alternative to the Great Axe at Age 8 only if the Hand Axe was selected earlier at Age 2.
- The Battle Axe gathers four Resources per hit (8 for a Gold Mine).
- The Battle Axe deals 35 damage per hit.
- The Battle Axe can strike once every 400 milliseconds (0.4 seconds).
- The Battle Axe has a range of 115.
- Players wielding the Battle Axe move at 100% normal speed.
Golden Variant[]
The Golden Battle Axe resembles the regular battle axe, only it is gold colored. In addition, a pick has been added to the other end of the axe. Deals 38.5 damage.
Diamond Variant[]
The Diamond Battle Axe takes on a much different design compared to its predecessors. It has a reinforced blade connection thingy, with a much bulkier axe-head. The axe head is longer towards the bottom so it can function as a hook, and the axe is diamond-colored, of course. Deals 41.3 damage.
Ruby Variant[]
The Ruby Battle Axe has a bulkier, albeit shorter axe-head than the diamond variant. It is notable for being symmetrical, unlike all the other variant's axe-heads. It is also notable for its ruby shading and triple curved blade. It is decorated with a yellow jewel, and has the Ruby weapon bleed effect.
Strategy[]
Using[]
- Use Structures, as with four resource per hit, you can easily and quickly gather wood and stone.
- Use your range and speed to keep away from opponents.
- Try pairing with a long range weapon such as the Crossbow as you will be able to farm resources quickly. This will give you a good long range and balanced melee weapon.
- In combat the Battle Axe has superior range and move speed to the Short Sword, but weapons such as the Katana and Polearm yield far greater range and attack power. When fighting against these opponents, your greatest advantage will be your speed and your superior resource collection abilities. Use your speed to run away and use your resources to either snipe them with a Ranged Weapon or attack them with structures.
Against[]
- Use speed enhancing gear to keep up with players who use the Battle Axe.
- If you are using the Short Sword, you will be slower than the Battle Axe and won't have as long range. You will have higher DPS though.
- When using weapons with superior range, keep your distance and beware of the Battle Axe's speed. Strike only when you will land a blow, especially if you weapon is slow, like the Great Sword.
Trivia[]
- The Battle Axe is modeled after the ones typically used by the Vikings in medieval times, while the Diamond variant is modeled after those used by the knights.
