Technical

• Costs 20,000
• When not moving or attacking for 1 second, you turn invisible.
• You can't eat Food.
• Movement speed is increased to 110% normal speed.

Strategy

Using

• Pair with the Bull Helmet or a high DPS weapon (like Daggers) and hide in a well-traveled spot. Turn invisible and when enemies come, surprise them. If they don't have Soldier Helmet, you can get Diamond Polearm and Musket and instakill them.
• If you lose health, quickly unequip it, Heal, then re-equip it.
• If in the middle of a battle you want to disappear without drawing much attention, wear this.
• Turrets and Turret Gear will still attack you, even when you go invisible. To stop this, catch a Mob in a Pit Trap and the Turret will fire at it instead, making you safe for the time being.
• When invisible if you place Structures you remain invisible. This may confuse opponents.
• Even though you cannot eat, you can still Heal via Apple Basket, Angel Wings, Blood Wings, and Healing Pad. This would presumably be true with Medic Gear but one cannot wear two hats at the same time.
• Mobs can still see you while invisible. Place down Pit Traps around you, and trap the Mobs without killing it. Use this stragety as a bait for Players.

Against

• Take advantage of the fact that Players with Assassin Gear equipped cannot heal by using a high DPS Weapon like Daggers.
• Since Turrets attack the user even when they are invisible, Turret Gear can be considered as a direct counter to the Assassin Gear.

Trivia

• Is one of only two Hats to not allow you to Heal. (The other is Shame!.)
• Unlike the Bush Gear, Players with Assassin Gear cannot be seen by their fellow Tribe members.
• Though the Player turns invisible, they can still be bumped into.
• Other Players' attack animations do not play when you are invisible.
• Text does not show up when invisible, and others cannot see what you say.
• Sometimes if you begin to Chat while invisible, if you become visible then your text will remain invisible.
• Yendis Entertainment used the image of the Assassin Gear from the YouTuber eXistenZ's texture pack's Bush Gear.
• Rotation does not count as moving.
